INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM OF KAĞIZMAN’S HIFZI

ON THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF HIS DEATH
08-09 APRIL 2018

We will introduce Kağızman’s Hıfzı on the 100th anniversary of his death in international symposium which will be located in our district.

One of the most important cultural projects of our municipality is passing by on the 100th anniversary of the death of Hıfzı who is one of the most masterful poets that Kağızman raised. Our project is called as ” INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM OF KAĞIZMAN’S HIFZI ON THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF HIS DEATH ” that will announced the name of our great poet to the world and especially to the academic circles. Our project will be held with the participation of many experts from the world of folk literature and Turkey.
The written symposium proclamations about Hıfzı will be examined by the Scientific Committee which includes 17 professors, 7 associate professors, 3 assistant professors and 3 research that specialists in the field of folk literature and love tradition.

Amateur photo tours will be held with participants who want to shoot the landscape in Kazikkaya and Huykesen Hills and in Dereler Valley where the most beautiful views of Kağızman are seen.

Hometown of poetry, Kağızman Photos Exhibition from the poet’s view.

Night of Lovers:
Examples from the works of Hıfzı and other lovers of the region will be performed by the invited lovers.

Concert:
The folk music concert where the works of Hıfzı and the songs of Kağızman are interpreted.

Panel:
Persecution of Armenians in Kağızman and its region in the Period in which Hıfzı lives.
